Light & Heavy: Best of- Iron Butterfly

These classic rock icons formed in San Diego in ’66, and their 1968 debut LP Heavy summed up their thundering sonics with its title and instantly built an audience for the band. Iron Butterfly’s In-A-Gadda- Da-Vida went on to become the ultimate psychedelic hard rock track of the late ’60s the single hit Top 40 and the LP of the same name sold over four million copies and stayed in the Top10 of Billboardr’s album chart for a year.
